PlayStation 5 is expected to re-launch in India soon. 

Recently, The Sony Center, Sony’s official dealer, has listed the Play Station 5 console for pre-booking from 17 May. The company had launched the PS5 in India in February. And they were sold out within few minutes of the first batch of pre-orders started in January. From this incident everyone can guess the popularity of the this next generation console, since then there was a shortage in its supply in India.

 

PlayStation 5 Pre-Order Details and Prices

Sony Center official website has put up a banner announcing about the pre-order details for the Gaming Console PS5 . According to the details in that banner, Customers can pre-book the PS5 console on 17 May from 12 noon. Only the standard version of the console will be available for the booking, And it is priced at Rs 49,990. Sony Center is a Sony’s third-party retail partner. Therefore, pre-order availability of Play Station 5 should not be considered as an Sony’s official restocking update. Reliance had to refund the booking amount of PS5

Earlier on this month, Reliance Digital has listed Play Station 5 in stock for purchase and accepted the orders from customers. However, After many customers who ordered, soon began to report that their orders had been canceled by Reliance. And the amount paid by customers started refunding.

 

Refunds, selling 78 lakh units of PS5 so far.

When the Play Station 5 first started the pre-order in January, the Gaming console sold out within a few minutes. Since then, there has been a severe shortage of Play Station 5 stock availability in India and also in many other countries around the Globe. Earlier this week, Sony has warned a group of analysts that the Play Station 5 would have a low product supply until next year. Announcing its financial results, Sony has said that 78 lakh units of Play Station 5 have been sold till March 31. The Company also aims to sell at least 10 million units of PS5 in the current financial year.
