Weeknd Wins Big at BMA took Home 10 Trophies:
The Billboard Music Awards were hosted on Sunday evening for the year 2021, The ceremony was delayed up to seven months due to the last pandemic. The Weeknd, one of the nominees as a finalist in 16 categories, swept out the ceremony of Billboard Music Awards, by picking up 10 awards, including the biggest win of the billboard awards night, for Top Artist. The Weeknd also picks home awards for Top 100 Artists along with Top Hot 100 Songs, for his great track “Blinding Lights.”
BTS Also Dominated the Billboard Music Awards:
The boy group BTS also dominated the Billboard Music Awards, winning in every category they were nominated for, BTS picked the trophy for Top Duo-Group, Top Social Artists, Top Song Sales Artists, they also took an award for their recent hit and Top Selling Song, “Dynamite.” BTS also performed their latest single “Butter” which was out this Friday, during the Billboard Music Awards ceremony.

The Late Rapper Pop Smoke Honoured Posthumous Recognition at BMA:
Bad Bunny won the Top Latin Artist, Gabby Barrett has won the Top Country Female Artist award, Roddy Ricch and DaBaby won the Top Rap Song award for their song “Rockstar.” The late rapper Pop Smoke was received a record-breaking posthumous recognition as a finalist in the top 10 categories, Pop Smoke won the Top Billboard 200 Album award for Aim for the Moon and Shoot for the Stars. His mother, Audrey Jackson, accepted the award on behalf of late Pop Smoke and said “Thank you for honoring my young warrior” to the audience of Billboard Music Awards.
Pink, Trae Tha Truth, and Drake are Also Performed Well at Billboard Music Awards:
Pink has awarded the Icon Award and was presented by her childhood crush Jon Bon Jovi, after performing some of her best-known songs, that include “Get the Party Started”, “Just Like a Pill”, and “So What”. Pink gave a moving aerial performance of her latest single, “Cover Me in Sunshine” along with her daughter, Willow, in the Billboard Music Awards. later Trae Tha Truth was honored with a Change Maker Award, and Drake also picked the Artist of the Decade Award.

Alicia Keys Celebrated the 20th Anniversary of “Songs in A Minor” at BMA:
Alicia Keys joins the stage of Billboard Music Awards for a special performance, and performed a medley of some of her great hits, that include “Fallin”. To recall and celebrate the 20th anniversary of her debut album, “Songs in A Minor”, which was released in June 2001, In a video introduction, Michelle Obama praised Alicia Keys, saying, “This young singer was taking us to the symphony and to church and to a couples therapy and candlelit dinner and everywhere else, all in a short more than three minutes. I knew right there this wouldn’t be the last we hear from Alicia Keys.”
Nick Jonas Hosted The Billboard Music Awards:
The Billboard Music Awards was hosted by Nick Jonas, And broadcasted live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on May 23 at 8 p.m and aired on NBC.
A number of awards were given out at Billboard Music Awards on Sunday hosted by Matthew Hoffman on Instagram Live. The Weeknd brings seven trophies, which include Top Radio Songs Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Radio Song, and Top R&B Artist. Morgan Wallen and Gabby Barrett Picked the Top Country Awards at BMA:
Morgan Wallen the Country star, is a finalist in six categories due to airplay, Morgan Wallen won Billboard Music Awards for Top Country Artist, Top Country Album, and Top Country Male Artist, but due to his use of a racial slur earlier this year cost him an appearance at the ceremony. First-time finalist Gabby Barrett grabbed two wins, including Top Country Song and Top Collaboration, a category which was voted by the audience.

The official publication of BMA said in a news release, That the finalists and winners of Billboard Music Awards “are based on key interactions with fans and music, which also includes the album and digital song streaming, sales, social engagement, and radio airplay, which was tracked by Billboard and its data partners, like MRC Data. The Billboard awards for this year i,e 2021 is based on the artist Billboard charts data from March 21, 2020, through April 3, 2021.
The Billboard Music Awards 2021 are produced by dick clark productions, which is owned by MRC. The Penske Media and MRC are co-parent companies of Billboard.
