Marvel Studios released a new clip of Loki:
Marvel released a new Loki movie clip for Tom Hiddleston’s upcoming Disney+ series. The all-time favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe villain Loki was thought to be killed in Marvel Avengers – Infinity War while fighting for good, but in Avengers – Endgame has set up a new way for the god of mischief’s story to continue. It wasn’t so long after that Marvel has confirmed the plans for a new Loki Disney+ series that follows the Loki from a different alternate timeline where he used Tesseract to escape from Avengers in 2012.
Loki’s Mission to close the branching timelines:
This moment of Loki’s escape is the catalyst for this new show’s story, as Loki is struck by the Time Variance Authority who controls the regular flow of time but not too long after. The Loki will be tasked with closing all the branching timelines that he created by escaping with Tesseract in 2012. Loki works with the officer Mobius M. Mobius (Owen Wilson) and periodically encounters other variants of himself, such as Lady Loki. The Previous trailers from Marvel for Loki have shown him going to different interrupted timelines and worlds as part of his mission, which will be the main story for six episodes.

The First episode of Loki will be out on Disney+ on June 9:

The new look at Loki continues MCU’s efforts to lean heavily on the on-screen partnership between Hiddleston and Wilson. This appears to be the first conversation between Loki and Mobius M. Mobius. Some footage has also been seen in the previous trailers of Loki, but now in the newly released clip, the full Loki scene can be seen by the audience before the first episode dropping on Disney+. and Just like prior looks at the series, the Loki series looks to have a very new and different tone that many haven’t expected, but the Marvel president Kevin Feige has described Loki series as a crime thriller, so this fits.

What’s in the Loki clip and references from the clip:
Even though the newly released clip is barely more than one minute of footage, the clip does have several noted details about the story and where the series could go. Mobius mentions in the clip that Loki just came from a place where he can be killed by TVA, pointing to some dangerous tendencies of the Time-Keepers than expected. Loki also mentions their goal to protect the “sacred timeline.” That phrasing has been using in marketing materials for the series prior and is believed to be a hint to the main MCU timeline. This mainly indicates that Loki is already aware at this point that he messed up the entire timeline and could be used by TVA and Mobius, to fix the entire issues in the timeline caused by him. In any case, and it appears that Loki will be full of mischief once the series arrives on Disney+ next month.
