While Kim has refused to explain the more detail about the food shortage crisis, Kim Jong Un has recently warned citizens of North Korea to be prepared for another “Arduous March,” the name given to the food crisis which happened in the 1990s, according to some estimates “Arduous March” killed more than three million North Koreans.
