Coronavirus Vaccination: The Government of India on Monday reported the Vaccine drive will be available to all above age of 18 years, beginning May 1. Accordingly, every single resident of India over 18 years old will be given  Covid Vaccine, The decision was on a ‘liberalised and increased Phase 3 strategy of COVID-19 vaccination was taken after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s meetings with specialists. 

The public authority declared that the vaccinstion process will be held as before. Covid vaccine will be availabe for free of cost at all administration run COVID  centers, while private emergency Hospitals can set their won price for the vaccine. 

Stage 3 of Covid vaccine for individuals over the age of 18 will begin on May 1. Here’s the  step-to-step guide to enroll on the CoWIN application.

COVID Vaccination Phase 3: How You Can Register

  1.  Visit the official website of CoWIN – cowin.gov.in through any browser
  2. Enter the 10-digit mobile number or your Aadhaar number
  3. You will get an OTP on your mobile number, enter it in the given space
  4. Once registration is done, schedule your preferred date and time available
  5. Get your COVID vaccination done.

After the vaccination, you will get a Reference ID with that ID you can get your vaccination certificate.

COVID Vaccination Phase 3: Required Documents

You will need at least one of the following documents at the time of registration, with a Photo ID

  • Aadhaar Card
  • PAN Card
  • Voter ID
  • Passport
  • Driving License
  • Pension Document
  • Health Insurance Smart Card issued under by Ministry of Labour
  • Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment
  • Official identity cards issued to MPs/MLAs/MLCs
  • Health Insurance Smart Card issued under by Ministry of Labour
  • Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) Job Card
  • Passbooks issued by Bank/Post Office
  • Service Identity Card issued to employees by Central/ State Govt./ Public Limited Companies

Government said procurement, eligibility, administration of covid vaccines is being made flexible. As per the order, vaccine manufacturers would supply 50% of their monthly Central Drugs Laboratory released doses to the Govt of India and would be free to supply the remaining 50% cent doses to state governments and in the open market.
