In view of this Pandemic, most of the states has cancelled their 10th and Intermediate exams and promoted students for the next academic year previously in 2020. This scenario has started repeating again due to the impact of the second wave of coronavirus the cabinets of many states like Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Odisha, Maharashtra has already cancelled the exams and started promoting students based on their academic performance.
Chennai: In view of the students well being and the current impact of the second wave of coronavirus, The state government has decided to call off the state board exams says Tamil Nadu chief minister MK Stalin. As students under 18years are not vaccinated, Conducting exams for them will result in the chance of spreading the virus. Meanwhile, a committee has been set up under the guidance of the “School education department” principal secretary. This committee will responsible for awarding marks for the students, which will be released officially.
