The new regulations for the social media platforms which are enforced by the central government has not come to end yet, as the notices have been issued for the platforms who are neglecting the regulations, In regarding this WhatsApp the largest social platform has made a lawsuit in reply of that regulation.

Whatsapp Request High Court Regarding Regulations:
In view of that regulations, Whatsapp has filed a legal case in Delhi High Court against the Narendra Modi government. Whatsapp requests the high court that Implementation of new regulations may result in the end users’ privacy. Whatsapp states that their primary concern is user privacy, but these new regulations can ruin user privacy. As the new regulations include “Traceability and store of data” . Which is entirely opposite of encryption and storage of data is nothing but an end to privacy. There is no term of privacy if they store users personal information and it is against their policies, but these regulations force the firms to store the users data. As this rules has adverse effect on this encrypted communication platform. So they confirm that they are ready to counter back against rules and they say ‘no’ to those regulation and request High court to block those regulations.
Govt Replies Whatsapp in view of their complaint.
In view of the whatsapp claims the government counter backs that new regulations are for user security and prevention of probing offense and the govt do really concern the user privacy and they where not intended to violate the user privacy, The government clears that right to privacy is fundamental right for every citizen and imposed rules won’t has any kind of impact on the users security and privacy and this norms can’t effect the whatsapp policies.
Conclusion:
Whatsapp states that new regulation can effect user privacy for which govt hit backs that imposed rules won’t has neither effect on user privacy nor whatsapp policy.
