Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka – Bangladesh Beats Srilanka: 

Bangladesh won their second ODI with SriLanka by DLS method and marks a position in series with 2-0 For Bangladesh Mushfiqur Rahim shines in the innings as wicketkeeper-batsman Mushfiqur Rahim played an outstanding game and also makes his century to help his team reach a respectable total of 246 runs, The Bangladesh bowlers also played a wonderful game Mehidy Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman’s great bowling helped them to register the victory with a difference of 103 runs over Sri Lanka by DLS method in the second ODI of the series. Bangladesh occupied the three-match ODI series with a 2-0 difference. Due to the bad weather conditions, the match was stopped with only one wicket left and match win is given to Bangladesh by DLS method

Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka The First Innings:

Bangladesh won the toss and opted to bat first, just like the first ODI match they lost early wickets in the game. Dushmantha Chameera dismissed Bangladesh’s captain Tamim Iqbal in the second over of the game and Shakib Al Hasan also went for a duck in the same over. When both great players got out Bangladesh was at 15/2. After that Mushfiqur Rahim and Liton Das came into the crease and tried to make a good partnership to help their team make a good score, but Lakshan Sandakan takes the wicket of  Das in the 12th over, after that Mosaddek Hossain was sent back to the pavilion in the 16th over by Sandakan.

While this is going on with Bangladesh Rahim stayed still he build a partnership with Mahmudullah to helped his team to reach 150. But after that, Mahmudullah also dismissed by Sandakan by scoring 39 runs. After that Afif Hossain has also given his wicket to Isuru Udana in the 37th over of the match while Mehidy Hasan is gone for a duck by leg spinner Wanindu Hasaranga. 

At one end Rahim was going very strong even though he did not get any support from another end. For Sri Lanka, Sandakan and pacer Chameera picked three wickets each and Isuru Udana also took two wickets while Hasaranga grabbed one wicket. 

 

Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka The Chasing:

Sri Lanka chased a score of 247 runs set by Bangladesh, The Sri Lanka openers started the innings with better expectations. However, in the sixth over Shoriful Islam dismissed the Kusal Perera captain of Sri Lanka. Danushka Gunathilaka opener of Sri Lanka and Pathum Nissanka tried to build a partnership but Mustafizur Rahman sent Gunathilaka back to the pavilion Gunathilaka scored 24 runs in 46 balls which was the highest score from any batsman In Sri Lanka. With this, we can expect that how badly their innings would be.

After the dismissal of Gunathilaka wickets kept falling in regular intervals. Shakib Al Hasan took the wickets of Dhananjaya de Silva and Pathum Nissanka. Mehidy Hasan also helped his team by taking three wickets of Dasun Shanaka, Kusal Mendis, and Wanindu Hasaranga. Mustafizur Rahman took a total of three wickets in the match within his spell. Earlier, Mushfiqur Rahim scored 125 runs off just 127 balls with a strike rate of 98.43 and hits a total of 10 boundaries. 

The Bangladesh vs Srilanka third and the last ODI of the series will be played on May 28.
