Google added a feature for scheduling emails on Gmail in April 2019. This feature allows all their users to draft an email with a specific date and time, and that email will be automatically sent to the user on the chosen date and time.
Email scheduling feature on Gmail is available on both the desktop site and mobile application. It gives the user an option to enter a custom date and time or select a pre-set date and time when you want the recipient to get the mail. This feature is very useful in many situations only the sender will know that the email has been scheduled.

How to Scheduling an email on Gmail using mobile app?
Step 1 – Go to Gmail app on your Android or iOS device, must update to the latest version.
Step 2 – Click on Compose button on the bottom right corner, compose your mail, and enter the recipient’s email ID.
Step 3 – After you have done with composing, on the top right corner, click on the three-dot menu you will find an option Schedule send click on it.
Step 4 – A dialog box will pop up where you should see a few preset options along with a Pick date & time option.
Step 5 – To select a custom date and time manually click on Pick date & time.

Step 6 – Now select the custom date and time you want the recipient to get the mail, and click on Schedule send.
Step 7 – You are done, the email will be sent on the scheduled date and time. To undo the process or to edit the scheduled email on Gmail follow the below steps.
How to cancel or edit the scheduled email on Gmail using the mobile app?
Step 1 – The scheduled emails on Gmail are sent to the “Scheduled” category in the navigation panel.
Step 2 – To access it Goto inbox, on the top left corner, click on the three-dot menu you will find an option Scheduled click on it
Step 3 – Here you will find all the Emails which are scheduled, you can edit them from here any time before they are automatically dispatched.
Note: You can have up to 100 scheduled mails at a time.

How to Scheduling an email on Gmail using desktop browser?
Step 1 – Go to the official site gmail.com in any browser and log in with your Google account if not already logged in.
Step 2 – To schedule an email click on Compose button on the top left corner, compose your mail, and enter the recipient’s email ID.
Step 3 – After you have done with composing, instead of clicking on Send button, click on the small drop-down arrow next to the send button and a pop-up will appear as Schedule send click on it.
Step 4 – A dialog box will pop up where you should see a few preset options along with a Pick date & time option.
Step 5 – Click on Pick date & time, If you want to pick a custom date and time.
Step 6 – A dialog box will appear with a calendar, from here you can select the date for when you want to schedule the mail, or else you can enter the custom date in the text field directly along with the time.
Step 6 – After you are done with selecting the date and time click on Schedule send.
