Actor Sharwanand has issued legal notices to Two Prominent Producers:
Sharwanand is one of the actors in the Telugu industry who deal very well with Telugu directors and producers. There has been not a single controversy around him so far. Every audience likes and supports him, as said there is not even a single controversy even indirectly, about Sharwa. The producers like to work with him a lot. But recently It is being reported that the actor Sharwanand is now been in a dispute with two prominent producers. The situation about the issue went on till sending the legal notices, This happened because Sharwanand doesn’t receive his pending payments from the producers.
14 Reels Plus producers need to pay Rs 2 crore remuneration to Sharwanand:
The controversy is with the producers Gopinath Achanta and Ram Achanta, who are heads of the 14 Reels Plus banner, The banner produced Sharwanand’s last film ‘Srikaram’. The film received good reviews on-screen with a noble concept, But the film did not get the expected result as a commercial and brought huge losses to the producers. Buzz is that the film doesn’t even collect the half amount from the total budget of the movie.
The issue is that as per the agreement made with Sharwanand by 14 Reels Plus producers they need to pay Rs 2 crore as remuneration for the movie. But he doesn’t receive his remuneration for so many days Sharwa felt that he will get the money after the release. However, keeping apart from the film’s commercial success, the 14 reels did not pay the balance payment to Sharwanand due to the losses caused by the film. Sharwanand asked so many times about this but he doesn’t get any response from them. So he sent a legal notice to the producers because there is no other option left for him.
The Similar Remuneration issues in Tollywood:
Some people say that the remuneration should be given to the actors as per the agreement irrespective of the outcome of the film. And at the same time, the producers understand the difficulty of losses due to a film and have to give up the remaining balance payment. A similar controversy has happened in the case of a blockbuster Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram film ‘Attarintiki Daredi’.
