Vishwakarma Puja date 2021: Vishwakarma, the engineer/sculpture/mechanic/carpenter of deva& devatas, is worshipped on the first day of the sixth Hindu month as per the Solar calendar.
Who is Vishwakarma? Why Vishwakarma Festival is celebrated?
Vishwakarma is known as the God of Architecture. He is the one who constructed amazing palaces, weapons for gods and goddesses. Vishwakarma is the only engineer /carpenter/mechanic for deities.
The Puja is celebrated in reverencer of Lord Vishwakarma, The festival is mainly celebrated by the people who work on tools and machines. Especially it is celebrated in factories and industrial areas as they worship their tools and machines. Because Vishwakarma is the one who repairs using his tools.
On that day all the workers,carpenter, mechanic, etc place all their tools and worship them, It can also seen that vishwakarma holds a measuring tape and a scale in his upper right and left hands, a book, and a pot in his lower right and left hands.

Vishwakarma Puja Date 2021:
This year, Vishwakarma puja will be celebrated on September 17. As it is held on Kanya Sankranti day (a day when the Sun migrates to the Kanya/Virgo sign). Therefore, the date of Vishwakarma puja more or less remains the same every year.
