The country is currently suffering from the havoc of Corona. There is a shortage of oxygen in hospitals all over the country at this time. People infected with corona are losing their lives due to lack of oxygen. In view of the situation, Australia and Kolkata Knight Riders fast bowler Pat Cummins has announced to donate $ 50000 (about 37 lakh rupees) to the ‘PM Cares Fund’ for the supply of oxygen to Indian hospitals. With this announcement, he has also shared a lovely message for the people of India on Twitter.

Pat Cummins shared a note on Twitter, in which he wrote, “India is a country that I have loved for years. People here meet with the most warmth. People are going through a lot of trouble at the moment. It has been very sad to know that there has been a lot of discussion on whether it is appropriate to continue the IPL in the era of Kovid. I was told that the Government of India believes that during this difficult time of Corona and lockdown, Is becoming a source of entertainment. “


Cummins went on to say, “As players we have got a platform from which we can easily reach millions of people. We can use this platform for good works. Keeping this in mind, I have especially contributed to the “PM Cares Fund” for the supply of oxygen to hospitals in India. ” He said, “I encourage my IPL teammates to contribute.”
